How to Get Started in RMSDF?

OUR focus is on safety and preparing you for CrossFit classes, which are intense.

We don’t want to throw you in before you are ready. The consequences of that are obvious. Our aim is to progressively equip you to handle the load and intensity.

Like any sport, you can’t enjoy it or play if you are sidelined with an injury or aching too severely or don’t know what you are doing.

This is why reaching the stage of attending classes at RMSDFrequires commitment and patience.

This is how it works.

1. Complimentary Fitness Assessment

Once you’ve decided you want to get into great shape and join a community of like-minded individuals, you contact us to make an appointment for a complementary fitness assessment.

You can come alone or even bring a friend. It takes approximately 30 minutes. We will explain to you about CrossFit – what it is, how it works – and answer any questions you may have. Then, through a series of physical tests, we evaluate your physical fitness.



2. Group Classes

Once you have graduated, you can begin group classes. This is when you get to work out with others. Don’t be surprised if you make quick progress, get hooked on the atmosphere and quickly make friends. There is something unique about CrossFit gyms and the connections you make with others.

We are all driven in different ways, of course. And while the atmosphere is competitive, some of us compete with ourselves, while others compete against each other – all for rounds, time or points.

Don’t be intimidated if you are not a competitive person. Our aim is not for you to be the best, but only for you to become the best YOU can be.

CrossFit workouts will likely take you to new physical and emotional peaks. You will not be left alone to complete the assigned workouts. Our coaches are there for you – to correct your form, offer you encouragement and advise you about anything you are unsure about. That’s our job.

3. Private Coaching

Still Want more, all of our coaches are available for private sessions. Nothing accelerates your progress more then one on one coaching.
